Like most parents this summer, LeBron James is spending much of it with his family. Traveling abroad for vacation while also throughout the States for basketball tournaments, the latter appears to be taking most of the King’s time as of late.
While in Vegas earlier this week at an AAU High School basketball game to catch Dwyane Wade’s son who plays for Bishop Gorman High School, Bron laced up a previously unseen iteration of the Nike LeBron 15.
Dubbed the “Purple Rain,” the shoe’s white Battleknit upper is covered with a violet floral design around the forefoot while the lace collar adopts a black stabilizer. The moniker, of course, serving as a reference to Prince’s 1984 film and album of the same name, also aesthetically pulls from Ronnie Fieg’s collaborative KITH pair from earlier this year.
The Nike LeBron 15 “Purple Rain” PE isn’t expected to release at retailers.
