Cameron Look aka Koolmac has been doing his thing behind the lens for a minute, most notably in the basketball scene where he’s carved a lane for himself as one of the premier photographers. Photography is sometimes a thankless endeavor but Jordan Brand has taken notice and has given Koolmac his own Air Jordan 36 PE, which is inspired by boba tea.

The sneaker features a Lenoweave upper seen in a vibrant green with a matcha green and neon yellow accents throughout. The matcha green tongue features the Jumpman on the right tongue with a graphic of a boba tea on the left, with the green Fuse rand that surrounds the sneaker using subtle dots to represent the tapioca balls typically found in the drink. “MATCHA MAN” is printed throughout the upper on the neon yellow Fuse overlay with a pink tab towards the heel on the lateral side as well as pink laces. The matcha vibes continue onto the midsole that features a speckled pattern with neon yellow striping. A Zoom strobel setup is used for impact protection and cushioning with the translucent green outsole featuring tapioca balls printed throughout as well as on the insole.

It’s unclear whether or not the Koolmac x Air Jordan 36 Low “Boba Tea” PE will get a release date or stay as a PE, but stay tuned to Nice Kicks for any updates. Check out the photos below from Koolmac himself and for all the latest drop dates, head over to our Sneaker Release Dates page.
