Converse teams up with Koché, Feng Chen Wang and Faith Connexion on a nine-piece collection that features an array of Converse classics, including the Chuck ’70, Jack Purcell, the ERX, One Star Ox, One Star Mid and the Run Star offerings.
Three common themes in the collection are DIY, chunky runners and thrashed takes on iconic styles.
While Feng Chen’s variation of the Chuck ’70 features bold phrases, like “Girl Power” throughout the design, Faith Connexion has taken to other Converse icons to rework the One Star Ox and Ox Mid into distressed renditions that feature fraying and scuffs all over the design.
Bright futuristic metallic tones have been gaining serious momentum in the fashion scene, along with chunky runners, which appear on the Run Star offerings – also featuring gallant Faith Connexion branding on the sides.
The Koché, Feng Chen Wang and Faith Connexion x Converse offerings are expected to release at Converse’s web store on April 26.
