Ronnie Fieg and the Kith family put on quite a show last week at New York Fashion Week. Their KITH PARK exhibition showcased collaborative collections with Versace and Tommy Hilfiger while also showcasing footwear collabs with the likes of Timberland, New Balance and UGG to name a few.
Perhaps the most interesting pair presented was a never-before-seen hybrid spotted backstage by our friends at HYPEBEAST. Captured by Eddie Lee, the famed KITH x adidas Ultra Boost Mid “Aspen” was seen with updated Futurecraft 4D tooling.
Reviving the 2016 drop that introduced the Ultra Boost Mid to the world, this modern makeover finds a green 4D sole replacing that of full-length Boost, extending onto the upper for an almost mutant aesthetic. The knit styling on the upper maintains the hearty hues that made the original a hit, while also appearing less wooly and more streamlined in regards to silo and threading.
As of now, there is no information as to if or when this pair will release. Peep the photos of the 4D and OG above and let us know which pair you prefer on social.
