The Phoenix Suns continue to merge the streetwear and sports world together as the intersection of fashion, hype, and sport continue to overlap.
On the court, the team’s momentum is at an all-time high as the team is bringing back its highly-adored purple Sunburst jerseys for the 2022-2023 season.
To add to the flair, the Suns have announced an official collaboration with KILLTHEHYPE (KTHLA), a streetwear brand renowned for its upside-down logo takes of teams, marking the team’s second streetwear collaborator following its work with Warren Lotas.
The KILLTHEHYPE x Phoenix Suns collection includes two hats, both with the Suns logo upside down front & center and SUNS branding in KTHLA’s font on the right. The black version features “The Valley” script, pulled from the team’s jerseys from the last two seasons. The white one features a flame graphic on the brim with purple and orange flames for an authentic look. Both feature a green under visor and adjustable straps.
The KILLTHEHYPE x Phoenix Suns collection releases on October 22, 2022, at the Phoenix Suns team shop starting at 9 a.m. local time.
