Super-producer Drumma Boy boasts a diverse taste in music and in sneakers. One look at his discography or My 5 proves such. An appreciation for the classics is confirmed in this installment of Kickstarter, where the Memphis music-maker shares the shoe that started it all for him.
Drumma Boy: “When Nike came out with that Air bubble? The Air Force 1s were cool, the Flights were cool, but the Air Max 95 was definitely one of my favorites. It made me become more of a fan of Nike. I remember seeing that Air bubble and all the colorways that came out. Everybody use to compete to see who had the biggest Air bubble and see who would be able to jump higher. We use to poke the air out to see if it made a difference! [Laughs] It was crazy.”
