Kelly Oubre Rocked “Supreme” Harden Custom on Court

A big fan of Supreme, Washington Wizards swingman Kelly Oubre rocked one of the company’s shooting sleeves on his leg in a game against the Brooklyn Nets in December. And with the Wizards taking on the Nets again on Saturday, Oubre laced up a custom adidas Harden vol 1 that sported Supreme’s logo along the toe box.

Created by sneaker customizer Kickstradomis, Oubre’s custom Supreme kicks come in a Wizards-centric red/white/blue coloway. Besides for the Supreme logo featured prominently on the toe box, Oubre’s nickname of “Wave Papi” is writted on the midsole. In another nod to the Wizards, stars were added to the three stripes logo.

Here’s what Oubre had to say about his Kickstradomis x Supreme adidas Harden vol 1 (via NBC Sports Washington):

Oubre ended up scoring 17 points on 5-of-6 shooting and 3-for-4 from three. Afterwards, he explained it as being all thanks to the shoes.

“It was the shoes. I felt real good. I felt real swaggy out there,” he said.

Oubre said Wizards equipment manager Rob Suller helped him get the shoes.

“He helped make it happen. I had a vision that I wanted to go with. They told me to take the sleeve off, so I wanted to put on the shoes and keep it that way, keep the wave going.”

Peep photos of Oubre’s kicks below and keep an eye on Wizards’ games to see if he will lace them up again this week.
