We caught up with Kehlani about her fashion inspiration, her favorite sneakers, and which brand she’d collaborate with.
Nice Kicks: How would you describe your style?
Kehlani: Coolness but prioritizing comfort. I want to look awesome but make sure I can stay in the outfit all day and all night and be comfortable in it. I want to make sure I can dance and move and do what I’ve got to do.
NK: We’ve seen you wear Chucks, Air Jordans, and more. What sneakers do you pack for tours?
K: My favorite [shoe brand] right now is Salomon. I’m entering the adventure/outdoor shoe world versus sports shoes. I like that they can double as both.
NK: Which brand would you love to do a collaboration with?
K: I’d say ASICS or Salomon. I really love [Salomon]. They have my heart.
