Karl Malone made a name for himself as a brute power forward for the Utah Jazz.? Most known for his pick ‘n’ roll work with Jazz point guard John Stockton, Malone played 18 seasons in Utah where his jersey would eventually be retired.? In Utah he would win 2 MVP Awards and be named to 13 All-Star teams.? He was also a key player on the famed 1992 Dream Team.? After 18 seasons in Utah he would head further west to Los Angeles where he would play for a star studded Lakers team.? After one season in LA he would retire from basketball and go down as one of the greatest power forwards of all time.
Karl Malone donned many brands over his career including Converse, LA Gear, and Apex.? Never one for glitz and glamor, Malone’s rugged personality and game did not make him a posterboy for high fashion kicks.? With that said, Malone did have some classic sneakers, most notably the LA Gear Catapult.? All of Malone’s shoes were stamped with his “Mailman” nickname and made in his team’s colors.
