Lifestyle brand Karhu is adding a new member to its team, Finnish designer Sasu Kauppi. Kauppi will serve as the inspirational driving force behind a variety of Karhu projects including future concepts, graphic design, pattern making, and various footwear and apparel collabs. Kauppi’s lauded career includes graduating from Central Saint Martins and being the head designer for YEEZY’s menswear line.
To kick off his reign as the label’s new Creative Specialist, Kauppi has injected his signature bold aesthetic into a range of vintage-inspired apparel and footwear items. Dubbed the Karhu x SSSU by SASU KAUPPI “Join The Team” Capsule Collection, the range includes the fan favorite Fusion 2.0 in two eye-catching colorways. Each has been topped off with “Join The Team” motifs and fun graphics. Along with the footwear choices, the collection also comprises bright tracksuits, sweatshirts, T-shirts, caps, and socks.
