UCLA and Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has teamed up with bespoke sneaker customizer factory8384 on a limited run of the adidas Forum for Abdul-Jabbar’s Skyhook Foundation.

Dubbed the Kareem adidas Forum 84/85 after the 1984/85 Lakers season, they got a rematch with the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals and defeated them on their home court in 6 games. The sneaker uses materials from a Lakers jersey and is seen on the upper and overlays. Purple hits are featured throughout, most notably on the liner, 3 stripes on the quarter panels, and Abdul-Jabbar’s “33” adorned on the lateral heel. A white midsole and outsole round out the sneaker’s look.

The Kareem adidas Forum 84/85 will be sold at Sneaker Con through NTWRK for $1,000 on July 26th, with only 33 pairs made. 100% of the proceeds will be going to the Skyhook Foundation, which helps bring educational STEM opportunities to underserved communities. Check out the photos below.
