Paris’ premiere luxury dealership for collector cars, L’Art de L’Automobile, has partnered with Vans yet again to create a special capsule collection. The KAR L’Art de L’Automobile x Vans Vault Collection features three colorways of the Vans OG Old Skool LX, each pair paying tribute to the dragster car culture.

Vans and L’Art de L’Automobile previously teamed up in 2020, releasing a collaborative Vans Era that featured the dealership’s logo, made famous by Arthur Kar. This series cuts to the chase by offering three swift colorways of the Vans OG Old Skool LX in red, yellow, and green – a nod to the starting lights at a drag race. The upper is made with suede and has “L’Art de L’Automobile” printed on the Vans sidestripe. Other drag race inspired elements include an embroidered exhaust flaming off the the end of the sidestripe, an embossed vent on the toe box, and waffle outsoles that read “GAS” and “BRAKE.” Each sneaker will come in special custom packaging, with the green colorway being a L’Art de L’Automobile exclusive.

The KAR L’Art de L’Automobile x Vans Vault Collection will be available tomorrow, February 17th. To purchase, visit the KAR L’Art de L’Automobile website. You can also visit the brand’s pop-up shop located in Paris at 16 des Filles du Calvaire, starting on February 18th. Other retailers such as Notre and Dover Street Market will begin carrying the collection on February 18th as well.
