It’s been over a year since adidas ended its partnership with Kanye West and months since the brand halted adidas Yeezy releases.
Ye, however, is not stepping away from the footwear industry as his polarizing sock-like boot Yeezy Pods are finally available.
The Yeezy Pods not only mark the first post-adidas release for Ye but the first release for Yeezy’s new Head of Design, Gosha Rubchinskiy — the Russian designer who was accused of inappropriate behavior with a minor in 2018.
The minimal Yeezy Pods is a one-piece design that rises up to the calf. In Ye fashion, the Yeezy Pods are dressed in all-black.The Yeezy Pods are available now via pre-order for $200 at SPLY.Yeezy.com.
