Following the release of the adidas Confirmed app this morning, the digital platform that will act as the first and only step towards securing the biggest footwear release of the year, more news regarding the Kanye West x adidas collection is becoming clear just hours after that aforementioned revelation. It has now been confirmed by multiple sources that the collection, which will feature the adidas Yeezi, is set to debut at New York Fashion Week.
As Kanye mentioned a short time ago during an appearance on the Ellen Show, he is very much focused on the apparel line adidas has allowed him to create. Thus, a presentation at New York Fashion Week makes perfect sense. Now, this could mean that the Yeezi 3 plays second fiddle to the apparel offering, but for all intents and purposes, everyone is eager to see all that West has cooked up since his partnership with the Three Stripes was set into motion. It’s also reported that this presentation will take place on the first day of NYFW, February 12th, although time and location remain unknown.
Though there has been no official confirmation from Kanye’s camp or adidas, this does look to be going down in just over a week, which also adds fuel to the fire that the shoe will release in accordance with NBA All-Star Weekend 2015. What’s more, we also know that the adidas Yeezi will be among the first releases through the Confirmed app, which places the release zone for its first offering only in the Big Apple, where All-Star weekend kicks off just a day after NYFW begins.
