Coming off a black colorway of the adidas Skateboarding Superstar ADV, adidas Skateboarding team member Kader Sylla is running it back on the iconic silhouette in a purple colorway that’s set to drop later this month.
“I’m really excited about this release because it feels bigger than the last. I tried to do a color that people aren’t doing much…there aren’t too many purple shoes on the market!” says Kader of the launch.
Hairy suede is seen again on the collaborative sneaker this time opting for a vibrant purple instead of black with a dark purple shell toe and midsole. Gold foil accents of Kader’s name on the lateral side as well as the adidas Trefoil on the tongue, heel, and lace dubrae bring some pop to the sneaker. The sneaker also provides improved fit, board feel, and durability compared to the OG Superstar with the sneaker also arriving with two sets of laces.
