The Just Don x Moët & Chandon “NBA Collection” is centered around excellence — drawing from sports, fashion, and luxury.

“Everything starts with inspiration,” Don C said. “The inspiration for my collaboration with Moët & Chandon was none other than the game of basketball. When designing the collection, I wanted to see how we could infuse the NBA marks onto the product and make it feel whimsical while ensuring that it still looks high-end and like it came out of a chateau in Epernay,” he added. “Knowing Moët & Chandon is a champagne that has been around since 1743, we wanted to make sure that heritage was reflected in the final product.”

The collaborative collection includes the integration of NBA team logos with Moët & Chandon’s iconic Impérial Brut and Nectar Impérial Rosé bottles as well as a Just Don hoodie, further tying in the streetwear element of the Just Don brand.

“I really played around with the concept of different graphics from NBA teams, while keeping the spirit of our brands and the process of making the champagne top of mind,” Don C said. “I wanted the collaboration to fit into your day-to-day lifestyle or something that can be collected and displayed for enjoyment anytime. We always pay attention to the keenest, most intricate detail so that was top-of-mind for me when creating the hoodie: making sure that we are delivering truly the highest excellence of quality.”

Whether through the hoodie or the bottles, the connections between Don C and his Just Don label to Moet & Chandon are simple — quality and timelessness.

For the champagne house, the collaborative collection is an extension and modernization of Moët & Chandon’s revered status in both sports and beyond.

“Moët & Chandon is the champagne of celebration and, for a long time, has been a part of sports’ most illustrious celebrations, Formula 1 podium, or NBA locker room celebrations,” said Anne Sophie Stock, Vice President at Moët & Chandon. “As we approach this year’s NBA Finals, we wanted to create an offering that sports and champagne lovers alike can enjoy throughout the season and beyond.”

The collection ties back to Moët & Chandon’s rich history across sports, not just basketball, From tennis and Roger Federer to Carmelo Anthony and Sue Bird, the champagne house’s DNA is woven into golden legacies.

As Moët & Chandon and Don C continue to push the envelope in their own ways, the NBA collection gives a glimpse into what’s ahead for both.

“You can expect to see more collaborations from Moët & Chandon rooted in culture and heritage while maintaining and amplifying what makes our House and our champagne as beloved as it has been for centuries,” Stock said. “We look to connect with partners that bring excellence to their craft, creating offerings that complement our portfolio and inspire people to come together over a bottle or glass of Moët.”

“Of course, you want to make something that looks cool, but more importantly, for me is creating work that has substance. The visual appeal is a ‘no-brainer’, but I wanted this design, like all of my work, to be driven by the underlying story behind the design,” Don C said.
