Converse and Joshua Vides have more up their sleeves.
The artist and the One Star are teaming up once again. This time, the brand and the maestro are lending a hand to the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. The upcoming Joshua Vides x Converse collection will be a limited auction that embodies the ethos of Vides’ vision and art.
With only 30 pairs available, this auction is an automatic must-have.
Each of the sneaker uppers is distinct – not repeating a brushstroke or paint splatter –?embodying the black and white of Vides’ design DNA. Each pair is a custom spray-painted box inclusive of a certificate from the three partners that numbers and authenticates the limited run.
Vides, Converse, and the Museum of Contemporary Art will host an online experience in partnership with Heritage Auctions running from November 6 – November 13. All proceeds from sales will be directed to the museum to benefit the arts community.
