News of Luka Doncic getting his own sneaker is official now as Jordan Brand has unveiled his first signature sneaker, the Jordan Luka 1 as Luka himself broke them out for Game 4 against the Utah Jazz in the NBA Playoffs.
The sneaker is designed for Luka’s multidirectional and shifty playstyle, using Jordan Brand’s new performance system called IsoPlate which wraps around the lateral forefoot to contain and secure the foot. The black one-piece upper features a haptic print that changes depending on how the light hits the sneaker with Flightwire cables containing the foot. Luka’s L7 logo is seen on the iridescent tongue with an external heel counter that extends down into the midsole is used with a speckled midsole using full-length Formula 23 cushioning that provides a light and responsive ride. TPU hits are seen in the midsole to provide stability with a translucent outsole finishing off the sneaker.
