Chicago’s Joe Freshgoods was recently named Creative Director for “Conversations Amongst Us”, a collaborative campaign with New Balance to honor the Black community throughout the year and at the Bulls/Clippers game recently, Joe showed off a New Balance 550 in the collection that’s scheduled to drop later this week.
The sneaker features a cream canvas upper with suede overlays featured throughout. The N logo appears in a dull yellow, as well as the piping around the quarter panel and tongue with New Balance branding blending in cream on the tongue and heel. The same dull yellow is featured out the midsole and outsole as well to finish off the sneaker with a co-branding “Conversations Amongst Us” seen on the insole.
