Since the beginning of summer, Jeremy Scott and adidas have been dropping hints about the return of their legendary partnership. Now, we get an official look at the Jeremy Scott x adidas Forum Wings 1.0 Money, which is an homage to their first ever collaboration. Back in 2003, adidas made 100 pairs of money-printed Forum sneakers for Jeremy Scott’s Los Angeles fashion show. This would end up being a foreshadow of the Jeremy Scott and adidas partnership that dominated the 2010’s.
The original design of the “JS Wings” appeared on an adidas Metro Attitude, but this version of the Wings gets placed on an adidas Forum High. It seems that adidas is on a serious mission to revive the Forums and Jeremy Scott is no exception. Regardless, the Wings fit seamlessly onto the Forum High. It’s definitely the update their collab needed. The sneaker has an all-over money print that appears to have a silky texture and features Jeremy Scott’s face on the dollar bills. The inner lateral side of the sneaker has the signature adidas three-stripes in rich green leather that corresponds with the lining and heel counter. Just below the heel counter on the lateral side you can see Jeremy Scott’s signature as well.
The Jeremy Scott x adidas Forum Wings 1.0 “Money” is set to release on August 24th on the adidas Confirmed app for $200 with it limited to only 1,200 pairs.
