Bronx-native and fitted cap king Jae Tips is getting ready to release his very own sneaker by way of Saucony. The Jae Tips x Saucony Grid Shadow 2 arrives this Fall and is the designer’s first sneaker collaboration ever.
Known for his use of vibrant colors, Jae Tips employs an array of standout shades across the sneaker. The upper is crafted with nude mesh and suede overlays in shades of Purple and Aqua. The sneaker also features graphic prints of zebra and floral to give the colorway even more depth.
Jae Tips’ “Savior” brand logo is embroidered onto one of the tongue tags, while the other tongue tag reads “Saucony.” Other Jae Tips identifiers are seen on the inside of the ankle collar, as well as the sneaker’s special shoebox, which proudly reads, “Jae Tips First Shoe.”
Look for the Jae Tips x Saucony Grid Azura 2000 releases worldwide on May 15 following the early releases that took place on May 10 at ShopJaeTips.com following the NYC-exclusive pre-launch on May 6.
