For its latest collaboration, New Balance has once again tapped Australian sneaker retailer Hype DC for a reworked take on its beloved 2002R silhouette.
Acting as part of Hype DC’s 25th anniversary, the upcoming Hype DC x New Balance 2002R “Native Dynamics” celebrates the ever-changing Australian landscape where the retailer has thrived since its inception. Neutral tans and beiges are primarily featured throughout the silhouette’s mesh and suede construction, while striking hits of pink and blue, representing the country’s salt lakes and coastlines, further elevate the leather overlays, laces, branding, and heels, as well as a special “25” marked lace dubraes. Down below is an ABZORB midsole and an N-ergy outsole for added comfort and shock absorption.
