LA-based and Nashville-inspired hot chicken kingpin Howlin’ Rays teams up with adidas to release its very own Campus 80s. Howlin’ Rays mouth-watering spice gives these kicks a kick, as the sneaker takes influence from the restaurant’s signature hot chicken sandwich.
The base of this adidas Campus 80s has a “Crystal White” leather upper with a milky translucent midsole. Fiery “Vivid Red” dresses the adidas Three-Stripes and also appears on the lining, as well as the laces. Smooth “Core Black” leather makes up the tongue and heel tab. The sneaker is finished with a Gold lace dubrae, a chicken keychain, and Howlin’ Rays branding on the heel counters and outsoles.
In addition to the sneaker, adidas and Howlin’ Rays will also be giving back to the community through a food drive, financial donation, and shoe giveaways benefitting the Think Watts Foundation.
The Howlin’ Rays x adidas Campus 80s drops on January 23rd via the adidas CONFIRMED app, followed by a global release date on January 26th via adidas.com.
