From the Australian boutique Highs and Lows comes HAL STUDIOS, a new design forward creative house under the direction of John Bouquet. After officially launching in May of 2021, the team gears up for its first big name collab with the HAL STUDIOS x ASICS GEL-1130 “EARTH.”
Using a “maximal minimalism” approach, this ASICS GEL-1130 has a muted color palette with a variety of textiles that add dimension to the sneaker. The upper is stripped back revealing a thick mesh base that is accented with a black suede sidestripe. The ASICS vector also appears in suede, opting for a brown color to match the toecap. The overlays on the forefoot are finished in a light stone grey. Other design features include a white midsole, green shank plate, leather insoles, and heel tags with “HAL” and “STUDIOS” branding.
The HAL STUDIOS x ASICS GEL-1130 “EARTH” releases on April 14th at 6:30pm AEST via the HAL STUDIOS website. A wider release will be available on the ASICS website and at select ASICS retailers worldwide on April 23, 2022.
