Earlier this season, we got word that adidas and HAL Studios would be dropping a collaborative silhouette. Dubbed the HAL Studios x adidas Velosamba, the cycle-worthy silhouette is set to release this week.
The cycling-focused version of the Samba features similar design cues to the OG Samba, albeit with a nylon plate on the insole and two-bolt cleat mounts on the outsole for a better riding experience. Premium leather and suede in black and cream are used to construct the pair, while nylon informs the adidas-branded tongues. On the profiles, the Three Stripes branding is further elevated with zig-zag stitching. Rounding out the final design cues are the speckled laces, lace toggles, and co-branding on the lateral heel.
