Ken Griffey Jr.’s résumé is an illustrious one, including 630 home runs, 13 All-Star game appearances, 10 Golden Glove awards, and one mildly successful presidential campaign. Complete with buttons, posters, shirts and TV commercials, Griffey’s candidacy had all the makings of a legitimate bid at the presidency. The rest of the story is a murky cloud of confusion, but a good bit of internet sleuthing could unearth exactly how it all went down. Nevertheless, a colorway to commemorate this unprecedented feat (no pun intended) would be well-received given the obscurity.
