To round out 2020, New Balance has tapped famed Swiss luxury timepiece manufacturer Franck Muller for two special editions of its 996 silhouette. As part of the duo’s “Create Your Own Time” capsule, the Franck Muller x New Balance 996 is offered up in two different iterations, both, of course, feature exquisite details and craftsmanship.
The first option pairs navy with silver, whilst the second option swaps gold for silver. The metallic hue dresses the leather toe boxes and heels, along with the laces, and outlining the signature “N” insignia on the mid-panels. Final details include “996” embossed into the heels and embellishing the full-color insoles.
The Franck Muller x New Balance 996 is limited to 996 pairs per style and is available now at select Japanese New Balance stockists. Each pair retails for ¥22,000 JPY (approximately $210 USD).
