ASICS is teaming up with the PENSOLE design academy and Foot Locker once again to put a unique spin on the GEL-180 silhouette.
With an assortment of student design specialties within the program, one team would stand out among the rest to put their design into production. After the three week program comes to an end, a board of key panel industry executives will unite to review and evaluate each design from the six teams. The winning team will be awarded a $12,000 compensation and see their final product release at select Foot Locker locations.
The PENSOLE x ASICS Gel 180 will launch exclusively at select Foot Locker stores around the world on February 24th. Check out the first episode of the video below and stay tuned for coming episodes to see what the students concept as the final product release.
