Foot Locker has Partnered With PENSOLE for “Fueling the Future of Footwear” Course

Looking to open up some new opportunities for the next generation of designers, Foot Locker, has teamed up with PENSOLE Footwear Design Academy and ASICS Tiger its inaugural “Fueling the Future of Footwear” course. Set to run from July 13th until through July 31st, the three-week class-based competition will be comprised of 18 students split into six teams with main objective being to put all of their skills to the test to create a new collection for ASICS.

With a mix of Foot Locker, ASICS and industry executives set to pick the winners, PENSOLE founder, D’Wayne Edwards will be presenting the Foot Locker ”Approved” seal to the winning design. Upon being selected, the winning design will be sold at select Foot Locker locations while the winning team will receive a $12,000 scholarship.
