San Diego Padres Shortstop, Fernando Tatís Jr., is adding to his adidas partnership with a signature adidas Ultra BOOST. Known as El Niño, Tatís had an incredible 2021 season and managed to amass a new generation of Padres fans.
This adidas Ultra BOOST is Tatís’ first off-field footwear option. While this sneaker isn’t exactly what we would expect from the Padres player, we still see a little bit of San Diego influence in the colorway. The upper is made with a deep blue Primeknit that fades down into a gradient muted salmon midsole. The signature adidas Three-Stripes appear in a pastel yellow, that also shows up on the new Tatís logo and medial midsole. Ultra Boost branding sits in silver on the heel counter and matches the Tatís Jr. branding on the pull tab. To complete the design, the sneaker sits atop a white Continental rubber outsole.
The Fernando Tatís Jr. x adidas Ultra BOOST will be available on November 24, 2021 at 10am ET. The price is set at $180.
