London-based, China-born designer Feng Chen Wang has once again teamed up with Converse for a spectacular Jack Purcell collaboration. Originally debuted during her Fall/Winter 2020 London Fashion Week Men’s presentation, the collaborative sneaker is crafted from an assortment of layers, that both literally and figuratively represent the past and the future.
The Feng Chen Wang x Converse Jack Purcell is inspired by Wang’s hometown, located in the northern Fujian province of China, as well as the energetic streets of Shanghai and London where she splits her time as a creative.
The model will be made available in both a “Black” and “Sea Salt” colorway, both of which are constructed from suede and leather. Embedded throughout are her namesake “Feng Chen Wang” in three Mandarin characters.
Look for both colorways of the Feng Chen Wang x Converse Jack Purcell to release on August 6 at select retailers and Converse.com for $130.
