To end off 2020 on a high note, New York-based retailer Extra Butter is teaming up with some of the industry’s biggest heavyweights, such as ASICS, Alpha Industries and G-Shock, for its Tomcat collection. The forthcoming range was created as a tribute to the form and function of fighter jet designs and aeronautical engineering.
First up, the retailer teamed up with ASICS on a sleek Kayano V OG crafted from full-grain leather and a ballistic nylon underlay. Dressing this silhouette is a “Stealth Steel” blue outfit, while graphic details are adorned throughout as a callback to military aircraft markings.
Up next, Extra Butter tapped Alpha Industries for a collaborative take on the classic MA-1 Flight Jacket. The signature outwear piece keeps its original spec fit, while Extra Butter adds to the piece’s vintage aviator flair.
Extra Butter’s Tomcat range is finished off with a G-Shock GM5600 digital timepiece. The watch features a modern bezel face, while the resin case is embellished with a subtle dot matrix camo pattern and elevated with an electro-luminescent backlight afterglow.
To round out the collection, Extra Butter has thrown in some private label pieces such as the label’s classic tee, long sleeve, oversized hoodie, and a range of headwear all decked out in retro fighter jet-inspired designs.
Look for Extra Butter’s Tomcat collection to release this December 9 at all Extra Butter retailers. A digital release via extrabutterny.com and EB Mobile App will follow on December 18.
