In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Jim Carrey comedic gem, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Ewing Athletics joins with Mache for a custom creation that odes the cult classic and its many nuances.
“I’ve definitely wanted to make an Ace shoe for years now,” says Mache. “Being a person who grew up in the ‘90s, Ace was a classic comedy woven into our memories.”
The shoe takes on a Miami Dolphins theme as it works in accordance with the film’s location and subsequent synopsis. Largely, though, the pattern of the shoe follows that of the Hawaiian shirt Ace famously wore throughout the film.
The Mache Customs x Ace Ventura: Pet Detective x Ewing 33 Hi is set to release exclusively at EwingAthletics.com in sizes 5-16 for $140 on May 1. A jacket will also release alongside the sneakers at a retail cost of $130.
