Famed retailer END. and adidas are once again joining forces, this time resulting in a utilitarian-heavy Superturf “Ibex”.
Ready for the outdoors, the upcoming END. x adidas Superturf “Ibex” pays homage to the Ibex goat, a species native to Europe, Asia and North-eastern Africa which is known for its near-gravity-defying grip and ability to thrive in extreme terrain. The pair boasts a rugged, outdoor-focused construction comprised of water repellent CORDURA® and hair suede as a reference to the animal’s hide. Down below, a TRAXION outsole provides added grip and stability on difficult terrain. For added comfort, ADIPRENE is featured in the midsole.
In terms of colorway, earthy tones of dusty olive, pastel parchment and autumn leaf are used, while reflective accents are seen throughout for added visibility. Final details include the hiking-inspired laces, an extra pull-tab on the sneaker’s tongues, and an Ibex scaling an adidas logo with END.’s font underneath.
