Joining the release of the Eastside Golf x Air Jordan 6 Low Golf comes the all-new Eastside Golf x Air Jordan 1 Golf “1961.” Both sneakers boast green hues with the “1961” version honoring the year that the PGA of America lifted its ban on non-White players.
As a Black-owned brand, Eastside Golf uses the Air Jordan 1 Golf to show how far civil rights and the sport of golf have come since 1961. The sneaker boasts bold “CHANGE.” text on the heel counter which is crafted with rich green leather.
Elsewhere, the sneaker is mostly black with premium leather covering the overlays, mid-panel, and ankle collar. The toebox is dressed in green, as well as the signature Nike Swoosh which is finished with black “Eastside Golf” script.
For final touches, the sneaker is complete with the Eastside Golf logo on the tongue, metallic gold Air Jordan Wings on the ankle flap, and a green-ready outsole with an integrated traction pattern.
