Outfitting celebs with ink may be Dr. Woo’s day job, but moonlighting as a sneaker collaborator? He’s pretty good at that, too.
Proving such is the Dr. Woo x Converse Chuck 70 “Wear to Reveal” Collection. Inspired by the wearer more so than the shoe, Woo riffs of vintage off-road vehicles for a two-layer upper intended to wear with grit to reveal the graphic beneath.
“The shoe is a culmination of all things that I love,” says Woo. “Vintage, the wearing in of your own clothes, how it keeps developing, transitioning, and how the Chuck, specifically, can stay in your life so long.”
