As of recent, Jack Harlow has been providing the sounds over at New Balance, but now the Boston-based sneaker brand passes the mic to Donald Glover, formerly known as Childish Gambino. The Donald Glover x New Balance RC30 is yet another expression of his elevated artistry as the sneaker comes in colorways of “Sea Salt” and “Golden Hour.”
The New Balance RC30 is the latest model to be added to the NB catalog. The sneaker takes notes from the New Balance XC-72 with an extended outsole that gives the silhouette a contemporary edge against its traditional track upper. The overlays are accented with curved stitching to heighten the vintage feel. Even the signature New Balance “N” has a retro-inspired shape that omits the sharp angles and opts for a rounded finish. Donald Glover keeps thing simple and chic, presenting the new sneaker in classic color combos.
