Deus ex Machina translates to “God from the Machine,” which explains the supreme custom work done on motorcycles by the Australian-based company that carries that name. The celebrated company joined forces with Converse for the Deus ex Machina x Converse Collection. The collection includes a high and low top model of the vaunted Converse Jack Purcell. The timeless silhouettes are adorned in premium suede and heavyweight canvas. The high top model is colored black, and the low top is burgundy. The tongue of each shoe is premium whiskey-colored suede, and both kicks are finished with a white rubber sole that features the standard Purcell “smile.” The suede and canvas materials are symbolic of the rugged, yet clean aesthetic of the Converse Jack Purcell and Deus ex Machina motorcycles.
The Deus ex Machina x Converse Collection will be available at the Deus ex Machina shops in Sydney and Venice, California for $95-$100.
