Hip-hop and sneakers go hand in hand. From lyricists rapping about their favorite Air Max (i.e. Game) to DJs having their own collaborative sneakers (i.e. DJ Clark Kent), the trend even extends to those who have their very own 1 of 1 custom. Case in point, Baby Aztro. San Antonio native rapper Baby Aztro links up with fellow SA locals, the custom guru himself, Jake Danklefs aka Dank Customs, and album artwork creator Wyl Freeman, for quite the exclusive.

In commemoration with his 3rd album, Dank and Freeman approach this Air Force 1 Low base in a somewhat subtle manner than what we’re used to from past Dank work. Replacing the tongue tags with both Aztro’s logo as well as his producer, Strange World, on the opposite shoe, the area around the eyelids and extending to the heel counter finds Wyl Freeman’s work as can be seen on Aztros cover art. Finishing it off on the heel tab, you will find the initials of Aztro and Strange’s stage name Phree-Base Sampulz Logo.

Baby Aztro’s 3rd album drops TODAY and if you’re in the San Antonio area be sure to drop by and show some love tonight for his release party:
