Damian Lillard and adidas are making high-level performance sneakers more affordable as the guard and the Three Stripes have announced the All-Star’s latest signature shoe, the Dame Certified — retailing at $95.

For Lillard, the Dame Certified stems from his principles of making the game fun and affordable for all to enjoy.

In addition to the silhouette’s announcement, Lillard also notes that he will be wearing the shoe on the court throughout the season alongside the adidas Dame 8, the marque signature priced at $130.

“It’s always been my goal to keep my shoes reasonably priced,” Lillard tweeted. “To stay in line with those values, I’m launching my #DameCertified line with adidas. The Certified is a $95 signature shoe that I’ll be wearing on court this year in addition to the #Dame8.”

The adidas Dame Certified offers a similar sensation and build as the Dame 8 with resembling design cues, a lightweight Bounce midsole, and a breathable upper.

The adidas Dame Certified isn’t the first “take-down” model we’ve seen from a brand and its signature athlete. However, Lillard will be one of the very few players who will wear both his main signature shoe and the inexpensive offering, further validating the benefits of both shoes and what they provide for any player — including an NBA All-Star.

The adidas Dame Certified is available now for $95 on adidas.com and select retailers.
