Within the lineage of fictional villains, Gustavo Fring of Breaking Bad has to be within the elite status of terrifying figures. With his stoic approach and manipulative sensibilities, he made protagonist Walter White’s life a living hell. With its critical acclaim, Breaking Bad drew a number of fans and it seems as though custom sneaker artist Robert Maymi was one, as he has unveiled the “Los Pollos Hermanos” Nike Air Max 1.
Taking cues from the fictional restaurant owned by Fring within the series, this Nike Air Max 1 features “blue crystals” throughout the forefoot while adjacent hues are spotted along the ankle collar, midsole and outsole. Furthermore, customary “Nike Air” branding is seen along the tongue tabs and “Gus Fring” is embroidered within heels of the sneaker.
