After being teased by Crooked Tongues, the London-based retailer has now revealed a detailed look at their latest collaboration. The Crooked Tongues x Reebok Classic Leather “Snakeskin” could truly be considered reptilian, since it’s covered from top to bottom in scales. Coincidentally, 2013 is the “Year of the Snake,” but CT’s Gary Warnett and Mubi Ali simply wanted to create a snakeskin CL with a gum bottom, regardless of timeliness. What they produced is a Classic Leather that is dressed in brown scales, but stays consistent with traditional red, white and blue Reebok branding. Detail is added on the insole that reads “Crooked,” and the inside of the tongue where CT included a special message to the connoisseurs, rudeboys and rudegirls.
