Perks and Mini (or P.A.M.), the Parisian lifestyle label founded by Misha Hollenbach and Shauna Toohey, believe that collaboration is often times about mutation.

They feel that classic silhouettes should change over time, effectively growing into something else while maintaining its foundation.

“Mutation is about evolution and the idea of what’s to come, what the future could be. It is not a rigid or singular way of thinking. It is an openness. We must adapt,” said Hollenbach and Toohey. This sentiment is both said and seen through their collaborative Chuck 70, which is produced in harmony with an adjoining apparel offering.

Engineered in a supple yet enforcing PrimaLoft coat, a thermal material made famous in the ’80s, P.A.M.’s Chuck 70 sees that component zipped overtop of the shoe from front to rear. It is, however, removable, with an underlying co-branded canvas Chuck of the slip-on variety beneath.

Look for the P.A.M. x Converse Chuck 70 on January 19 online at Converse and at select retailers globally including Livestock.
