Today Converse has announced the launch of the Converse for Ace Hotel Chuck Taylor AS Bosey Navy/Black. Worn by the hotel’s New York staff since their opening in 2009, this special Chuck will now be available to the public. Said to be inspired by classic military and outdoor boots, Converse describes this special Chuck:

Padded uppers and cushioned foot beds add comfort for hardworking hotel bell staff and a ridged boot toe-bumper give it a sturdier look and feel. Navy outsoles provide a subtle contrast to the black uppers and signature Bosey boot grommets grace the sidewalls. A nod to affirmations that appear throughout Ace properties, the statement ?You Are Here? is printed on the comfort foot bed ? a sentiment which also appears on the Ace NYC entrance rain mat.
