Each year the United States celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15th to October 15th, in which we see tributes around the country for our diverse Hispanic and Latinx populations. Joining in on the fiesta is the Converse Chuck 70 “Mi Gente, Mi Alegría,” which was released alongside a Chuck Taylor All Star and Converse Run Star Legacy CX.

Using tropical design elements inspired by the vibrant lifestyles of the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, this Converse Chuck 70 has a woven canvas base that is printed with a mint green floral graphic. The overlays add complementary palm leaf straw that gives the sneaker an earthy finish. The laces also come in mint green while the toebox, midsole, and foxing are all complete in “Natural Ivory.” The iconic Converse All Star patch finishes the sneaker in a warm gradient that fades from red to green.

The Converse Chuck 70 “Mi Gente, Mi Alegría” is available now. The retail price is set at $100. To purchase, visit Converse.com and select retailers. For more sneaker news and release dates, follow @NiceKicks on Twitter.
