In their latest work together, the Japanese based brand has tagged Concepts for a coexisting apparel set and footwear piece.
The ASICS Gel Lyte III has become the brand’s pride and joy, typically the canvas for collaborative efforts. Inspired by the tumultuous history of Japanese tuna and its rise from from overlooked seafood to delicacy, Concepts has given the legacy sneaker an “Otoro” makeover. As such, the sneaker’s colorway pays homage to the fish’s extra fatty stomach, a luxury in Japan. A premium red pig suede construction and lime laces completes the design.
