adidas is going hard with upcoming collaborations as of late. Following a team up with atmos and Extra Butter, the Three Stripes turns to Boston-based retailer Concepts to dress its ZX 9000 model.
The forthcoming Concepts x adidas ZX 9000 “Boston Marathon” celebrates the Boston Marathon and has been constructed almost entirely from a “Metallic Silver” foil. Grey suede overlays accent the toe box, forefoot, and heel, while navy, white and red form the Three Stripes branding on the lateral wall. Rounding out the design of this ZX 9000 is a navy heel cage, Concepts logo on the left tongue, and dual branding on the insoles.
The Concepts x adidas ZX 9000 “Boston Marathon” is set to release as part of adidas’ A-ZX series and will fall under the letter “C”. Look for the collaborative model to land at exclusively at adidas.com/A-ZX, Cncpts.com, and at Concepts stores this September 6. The pair will retail for $140.
