If a tropical vacation isn’t in the budget this summer, the second best thing is investing in sneakers with prints that aesthetically take you to the place you can’t currently visit. Concepts partners with Vans for a trio of Old Skool releases inspired by one of the most desired travel destinations in the Caribbean.
Jamaica, known for reef-filled beaches and tropical rainforests, serves as the centermost creative force that drives the Concepts x Vans Old Skool “Jamaica” collaboration. Vintage Jamaican prints are seen throughout the three-piece collection in Green, Off-White, and a special friends and family Orange offering. All denote premium suede fabrication, a padded tongue, and a signature waffle outsole.
The collection will be sold in-store on Thursday, April 20, followed by an online release at 12pm EST on Friday, April 21, on cncpts.com. Additionally, a limited run of the friends and family Old Skool “Orange” will be sold at Concepts NYC and Cambridge on April 20 on a first-come, first-serve basis.
