Originally seen at the F/W 2022 Comme des Garcons Homme Plus show in Tokyo earlier this year, we get an official look at the collaborative Comme des Garcons x Nike Air Max 97 that’s dropping in the near future for the sneaker’s 25th anniversary.
The sneaker uses a black mesh base with patinaed and weathered black overlays seen throughout. Typically seen on the CDG x Nike collabs, co-branding is extremely subtle and placed on the black insole with the Swoosh seen on the medial and lateral sides and on the tongue. A full-length Air Max unit is utilized that’s housed in a black midsole with a black outsole finishing off the sneaker.
