Releasing as part of its Spring/Summer 2021 collection, COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT has tapped ASICS for a collaborative take on its TARTHER silhouette.
The duo’s collaborative effort has resulted in two vibrant takes on the popular TARTHER model, which is basically a revamped iteration of ASICS’ Tiger Runner from 1983. Both colorways of the COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT x ASICS Tarther sport white mesh on its toe along with white laces, suede overlays, and leather ASICS vector logos. What sets the options apart is one features a purple gold-speckled quarter and heels, while the other one goes blue.
Co-branding appears on the tongue along with TARTHER spotlighted on the lateral heel. Rounding out the final details are EVA foam midsoles and a black and neon yellow outsole.
Both COMME des GARÇONS SHIRT x ASICS Tarther colorways are available now via the CdG website and select retailers such as Offspring. Each pair retails for $290.
